In British English, ZERO is used in scientific or technical language. The usual way of
saying '0' is NOUGHT or 0:
e.g.
Her phone number is one three nought two six;
Nought point five (0.5, decimal fraction).
The way of saying double numbers in telephone numbers is:
e.g.
(AE) The telephone number is five one one eight five three five;
(BE) The telephone number is five double one eight five three five.
